Doug has the dual role of managing the agency and developing new client opportunities. Drawing on 25 years of experience in the financial industry, Doug’s philosophy is to lead by empowering everyone on our team to excel at what they do best. He works to support an environment of ideation and innovation so that everything we do comes from a fresh perspective.

Prior to joining Riley Weiss, Doug co-created Filigree Advisors, a wealth design and management firm focused on managing the wealth of affluent families. He also spent 13 years with Charles Schwab & Co. Inc., where he led internal organizations that set future strategic directions, segmented sales and service to large client events, and drove growth of Schwab Institutional’s advisor managed assets. Doug is a graduate of the University of Michigan.
