adidas performance enhancement

After working with adidas to help launch their Signature Basketball Series in 700 Foot Lockers, Riley Weiss was hired to promote performance technology through adidas’ vast network of independent North American retailers.

We built a range of in-store environment and point-of-purchase displays for footwear and apparel, including technology-feature pocket guides and animated flipbooks for sales associates, shoe-wall mounted point-of-purchase info shades, as well as shelf toppers and retail floor posters. Our design team developed a microsite for retailers to order these materials, and we created emails to reach out to store owners. We tested how they used the site, and made modifications to increase its effectiveness the following year.

While developing these retail-environment products, our design team created a performance color for the adidas brand—a fluorescent yellow-green used to represent integration of an adidas performance technology. We used it in our performance technology sales tools, and the performance color went on to be adopted by adidas North America and adidas Global.
