Johnson Outdoors produces some of world’s best recreation products. The company’s 14 high-performing outdoor and lifestyle brands include innovative marine electronics, watercraft, diving, and outdoor equipment brands like Minn Kota, Ocean Kayaks, Scubapro and Eureka.
Riley Weiss worked for two years with Johnson Outdoors’ global marketing office to develop the company’s annual reports. We sought to be environmentally conscious and reinforce the company’s position of leadership in the markets it serves. For the first time, their annual reports were shared electronically. The first year’s report was delivered to shareholders via DVD along with an info sheet outlining the environmental savings. The interactive form also cut production costs in half. For the second year’s report, Riley Weiss took the sustainability concept a step further and developed a purely digital interactive microsite. Each annual report highlighted innovation in product development, operations, and sales activity. We leveraged Johnson Outdoors’ stunning photography for these projects, as well as our own original product shots.
As a leader in outdoor adventure, Johnson Outdoors took initiative to make even the corporate aspects of business align with their commitment to environmental responsibility. Riley Weiss was proud to take part in this eco-conscious transformation.
