Art and science for M Wealth

Created by M Financial—a national consortium of approximately 150 insurance companies—to provide sophisticated, fee-based wealth management services to the clients of its Member Firms, M Wealth is a firm for the highly affluent. They offer a suite of services tailored for the lifestyles, assets and social and family goals of wealthy individuals and organizations.

The company’s Portland offices impress—bamboo floors and ceilings, a waterfall and beautiful paintings by local artists hang on the walls. When engaged to build M Wealth’s business communication materials and website, Riley Weiss created a visual system around this art.

Wealth management is both art and science, and the paintings used for M Wealth’s visual identity combine mathematic equations and figures with abstract landscapes. They are richly colored and textured, even somewhat mysterious. With a visual identity centered on these pieces, Riley Weiss developed a brochure set, folders and a website designed as a living painting. M Wealth is a sophisticated, high-class brand, but their people are accessible. The brand’s messaging communicates the desire for long-term relationships built on trust.
